Taylor Swift's anticipated fifth studio album, 1989, leaked on the Internet on Friday, Oct. 24, just three days before it's official release date and her fans were not okay with it.
According to Vulture, the leaked Zippyshare.com file, which was appropriately titled "albumsgonnaleakleakleakleakleak.rar," seems to have come from France, as certain track's titles were listed as numbered "pistes," which means "tracks" in French. (Reportedly once the album is downloaded into iTunes as well, it shows up as "Album inconnu," aka "Unknown album").
Swift, who performed new songs "Out Of The Woods" and "Shake It Off" for 15,000 fans on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday, has yet to make a comment about the leak. Her fans, on the other hand, freaked out on Twitter, bashing leakers and pledging to not listen to the album until its official release.
"I refuse to listen to ‘1989’ until Monday. As far as I’m concerned, listening to the leak is disrespectful to @taylorswift13 #Swifties," one fan tweeted, while another threatened: "I swear to god if I see one more person threatening to leak 1989 I will hurt them."

A more calm fan urged: "DONT LEAK ANYTHING ABOUT 1989 AGAIN SERIOUSLY YOU NEED TO STOP DOING THAT 3 MORE DAYS JUST BE PATIENT."
Bill Werde, former Billboard editor, pointed out on Twitter: “The Taylor Swift album leak isn’t trending on Twitter. And I think it’s bc her fans are so loyal they won’t tweet it. That’s kinda awesome."
